Helvetica The Movie Writing Assignment

Helvetica originated in Switzerland. The original name is Neue Haas Grotesk. It is Latin for New Sans Serif. Helveticia (Latin for "Switzerland") is what they wanted to use but later changed to Helvetica which means "The Type-Face of Switzerland." Helvetica was createdin 1957. Helvetica is the most comon type font. You can find it everywhere. For example, you can find them on government papers, street signs, company names, etc. Helvetica brought the swiss design movement to popularity. Three different styles movements are Modern, post modern, and Grunge style.

File Format Exercise

For the trees, the smallest file size is the JPEG-low. The file size with the best quality is PNG-24. the fole size with the best balance quality and size is JPEG-medium.

Color Theory Part C - Short Writing Assignment

The three primary colors are Red, Yellow, and Blue. Secondary colors are created when you mix two primary colors together. For example, if red and yellow were to mix, the result will be the color orange. Tertiary colors are combinations of primary and secondary colors. For example, if you mix blue and green you get blue-green. Additive colors are created by mixing the visible light emitted from differently colored light sources. Subtractive color is where light is removed to creat color. Colors affect our perception in many ways. It is because of the way our brain interprets the color and tells us what to feel, think, etc. If your in a pink room, you'll feel restless and calm. But if your in a red room you feel mad. One color affect another when they mix. This results in many other colors.

1. Lawyer

· Job Description: Lawyers help individuals and businesses solve their legal problems. That includes wills, taxes, contracts, etc. They represent their clients in court.

· Job Activities: They gather information about the case, research past court cases to find similarities, and present arguments that support or defend their client's position.

· Education: Many bachelor's degree programs are acceptable for admission into law school. However, the majority of people admitted into law schools have an undergraduate degree in pre-law, business, interdisciplinary studies, or social science.

· Career Pathway: Lawyers can work for themselves, a firm, a company, of the government.

· Salary Range: The national average salary for lawyers is $92,730 per year.

2. FBI Agent

· Job Description: FBI agents investigate criminal activities for the United States Department of Justice. They enforce federal laws. They work to keep the country safe from major crime and security problems inside our borders.

· Job Activities: They work with city police departments, keep detailed records and files, and often deal with suspects and witnesses.

· Education: Helpful high school courses would include Business and Personal Finance, Business and Personal Law, and Technical Writing. Recommended Major and Degrees in Accounting and Related Services, Computer science, Law, and Criminal Justice.

· Career Pathways: Most FBI agents work in an office. Depending on the specific type of work you are assigned.

· Salary Range: The National Average salary is $53,350 per year.

3. Aerospace Engineer

· Job Description: Aerospace engineers apply the laws of aerodynamics to study how objects and surfaces move through space.

· Job Activities: They develop, design, test, and maintain equipment and vehicles that travel in the earth's atmosphere and in space. These vehicles include balloons, sailplanes and gliders, military and civilian craft, missiles, satellites, and spacecraft.

· Education: Need Major and Degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautically Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, and Engineering Physics.

· Career Pathways: Astronautically engineering programs must demonstrate that graduates have knowledge of orbital mechanics, space environment, attitude determination and control, telecommunications, space structures, and rocket propulsion.

· Salary Range: Average salary is $77,340 per year.
